FOR SELECTED PLANT SIZES
“Direct Sun (with shelter)” refers to locations which are semi-outdoors. They are usually a balcony, corridor or window ledge whereby direct sun rays touch the plant leaves.
The temperature is cooler than a location receiving direct sun (without shelter). Due to the presence of a shelter and structures blocking, sun rays are usually partially blocked and less intense for the plants.
e.g. a sheltered balcony with direct sun rays
e.g. a ledge with direct sun rays not filtered by windows
e.g. a HDB corridor ledge with direct sun rays
