what does it mean by "medium light"?

“Medium light” refers to locations which are near sun rays but sun rays do not touch the leaves of the plants.

When placed about 30cm away from a white canvas, plants in medium light cast fuzzy shadows.

Photo references from online

e.g. within 1 metre away from sun rays but sun rays not touching leaves of plant

e.g. room is sufficiently bright but sun rays not touching plant directly due to translucent curtains

e.g. sun rays not touching plant directly because plants are too far away from windows

photo references from fellow SG gardeners

e.g. right next to the window, but with majority of the light blocked by opaque curtain/wall
