The asparagus fern has busy, elegant yet light and feathery foliage. The fresh buds resemble asparagus, hence it’s name. Stephania Nova, also known as Stephania Kaweesakii, has zen purplish leaves. The newly sprouted buds are of a vibrant purple hue. As the leaves develop, they turn more green. However, pinkish veins continue to illuminate under sunlight.
